Looks like the Department of City Planning is going to focus in on the zoning of Bedford-Stuyvesant. Metro New York, one of those free subway dailies reports that DCP is going to begin the public review process of a proposal to rezone 200 blocks of Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Let's hope the rezoning proposal protects the integrity of Bed-Stuy's beautiful brownstone blocks while giving Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue property owners an incentive to develop more flexible ground floor retail spaces with additional residential units above.
