As a member of Curves herself, Sandra opened the Curves of Bed-Stuy fitness center in April 2004 as the perfect extension to her previous occupation and way of life.

At Curves of Bed-Stuy, you will hear energizing music that helps to
keep you moving as you make your way around the circuit of eleven
machines and recovery stations. Just two and a half rounds through
this circuit completes a full thirty minute total body workout. Unlike
at many other gyms, there is no sitting around waiting for a machine: the
workouts are fast paced and there is a thirty second time limit and a
recording to remind you to change stations. A Fitness Tech (no
additional charge) is on the floor to give you instruction on the
machines and encouragement to keep you going.
With the option of a one-year or month-to-month contract, Curves has made keeping life fitness for Bed-Stuy's ladies easy and fun.
